Creative Pathways Bangladesh is a firm (legally registered in Bangladesh with Trade License no. TRAD/DNCC/008515/2022, TIN no.720995118483 with a mission to make a positive change by supporting to conduct research, advocacy, communications, training, and review/ evaluation. We are devoted to helping eliminate poverty, protect human rights, preserve the environment and promote public-private engagement. Based in one of the southern countries, we look forward to working around the world and in Bangladesh with agencies, networks & organizations to strengthen their voice, generate evidences, improve their operations, and maximize their influences.
We contribute to improve quality of life by generating evidences, providing support for review evaluation, training, and engaging with the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.

More than 21 years of working experience on rights-based development approach, advocacy and campaign programme while mainstreaming women and children’s rights. Having good understanding on national and international security and development related issues. Have soind knowledge on social and economics issues of the country and good networking and communication skills to work closely with different stakeholders particularly Government and all reputed Civil Society Organizations in Bangladesh. Experience in conducting research activities and identifying relevant issues. Lead a number of studies on child protection, CRBP, disability inclusion and gender based violence. Facilitated a number of training programmes on advocacy, rights-based issues and gender mainstreaming. Having more than 12 years of working experiences with INGO on advocacy, human rights, gender, disability rights, community development, social inclusion and Community based Rehabilitation Programme. Have good understanding on sustainable development goal and its link to gender equality.

International Consultant
Chris Morris is an experienced evaluator and programme manager with a background in conducting evaluations for ILO, Sightsavers, Humanity and Inclusion, the Alliance for Financial Inclusion, the International Commission of Jurists, and the Norwegian Refugee Council. Migration gender equality, disability inclusion, human rights defender programmes, and humanitarian relief were the focal points of these evaluations. He has a strong knowledge of RMG, Log Frame, M&E systems and analysis. These experiences cover migration, livelihoods, and disability inclusion. Chris also has experience working in South Asia, including Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Nepal.

Maamun is an expert on Programme Design; Programme Review, Evaluation; capacity building, Knowledge management, institutional management, urban development, youth economic empowerment, livelihood, extreme poverty reduction, women empowerment, and Market assessment with around 22 years of progressive experience with different international and national development agencies at senior and expert level capacities.
Mamun also has provided a good number of Term Based Consultancy Services as Team Leader/Chief Consultant/Advisor to different international and national organizations (e.g. Plan International, RDRS Bangladesh, MJSKS, DFID, Oxfam, Red Crescent Society, UNDP and private companies on project design, Mid Term Review, External Evaluation, Impact Evaluation, institutional capacity assessment, strategic plan development, market extension education, Business plan development, market analysis, value chain analysis and development, Job market analysis in the RMG and other emerging sectors.

Working as technical expert for Creative Pathways Bangladesh in disability inclusion. He started his working carrier in development sector on education sectors in 1995 to teach learners with disability through government mainstreaming primary education system. As a person with low vision he is involving with numbers of disabled peoples organizations as founder member and contributing strengthening disability inclusiveness within government duty bearers. Working with CDD since last 22 years. Also directly involved with the inclusive education cell under Directorate of Primary Education and General Economic Division (GED) for time to time reviewing process of disability and policy documents. Also fully assigned to continue regular policy advocacy events with different ministries and departments regarding rights and scopes of persons with disability in Bangladesh.

Sumaya Noor
Head of Operations
Sumaya works at Creative Pathways Bangladesh, as Head of Operations. She is responsible to formulate, organize and monitor inter connected projects, ensure development of proposals, budget, concept notes and submission on time on behalf of the firm. Also, responsible to develop, writes and presents comprehensive statistical and narrative program reports and monitoring projects and overseeing project managers to ensure goals are met. Before joining the team, she worked at Acid Survivors Foundation with the OD & OM team and Foundation for Disaster Forum as coordinator. She has completed her masters of Arts in Political Science from University of Dhaka.

Tasnia Bahar Chouwdhury is working as a research officer at Creative Pathways Bangladesh, and has completed her undergrad on Economics from North South University, and Masters on Development Economics from University of East Anglia. She has academic research experiences on (a) Effects of covid-19 on online women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh, (b) Challenges and opportunities of rural women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. She did her internship in Bangladesh Resource Improvement Trust (BRIT) at Department of climate change & disaster management.

Rifat Sharmin Ema
Senior Associate Researcher
Rifat has substantial work experience in Disability Inclusion, governance, women economic empowerment, dignified work, community mobilization, education, impact assessment, Evaluation and market approaches, and skill building. Her distinguished expertise includes project proposal development, concept note writing, research, analysis, and donor reporting for the projects. Rifat has participated in several engagements in Bangladesh as a research associate and program coordinator. Recently, Rifat coordinated the “Endline Evaluation of 4th Health, Population and Nutrition Sector Program (4th HPNSP) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Bangladesh”. The Evaluation aimed to evaluate Bangladesh& 4th HPNSP was designed to assess effectiveness in enhancing health governance and stewardship, improving service delivery while ensuring equity, and strengthening health systems overall of the 4th Sector Wide Approach Program (SWAP) of MOHFW in Bangladesh. The implementing partner was Nutrition International (NI). Rifat started her career in 2019 as a Program Officer at Identity Inclusion. She worked as a Research Associate at Thinkthrough Consulting Bangladesh. And now she is working as a Senior Associate Researcher at Creative Pathways Bangladesh. In her 6 years career, she worked with several national and International organizations like WaterAid Bangladesh, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, CARITAS, Christian Aid, Nutrition International,GIZ,Tradecraft, Handicap International, UCEP Bangladesh, Practical Action, Nari Pokkho, BLAST, etc.

Research Associate
Asif Reza, currently working as Research Associate at Creative Pathways Bangladesh. He obtained his BA in English and Humanities from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB). He is presently a graduate student at East West University studying development studies. He previously held a conventional teaching position with JAAGO Foundation and completed a two-month internship with ActionAid Bangladesh. He is responsible for conducting KII, FGD, and surveys for Creative Paths Bangladesh. He is also responsible for writing reports, proposals, concept notes,field notes etc.

Sadia is working as a Research Associate, leveraging her excellent academic background and professional experiences to contribute valuable insights and expertise to the dynamic team at Creative Pathways Bangladesh. Prior to this, she finished her MA in Ecology, Culture and Society at Goldsmiths, University of London as a British Council Women in STEM scholar. She also completed her masters in Development Studies from the University of Dhaka and bachelors in Geography and Environment from Shahjalal University of Science Technology. This multidisciplinary background equipped her with a deeper understanding on the complex social and environmental development issues in Bangladesh and made her committed to advancing knowledge in these areas. In addition, she worked as a project coordinator at Footsteps Bangladesh where she led planning and implementing of disaster response campaigns, demonstrating her leadership and organizational skills. Earlier in her career, she has completed two internships, one at UNCDF and another one at Center for Participatory Research and Development (CPRD). Prior to this, she has contributed to the Oxfam in Bangladesh team as a volunteer in Transboundary Rivers of South Asia (TROSA) project.

Sumaia Binta Chowdhury is a young professional with aspirations of becoming an expert environmental economist. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Environmental and Resource Economics from Dhaka School of Economics. Sumaia has completed an academic thesis titled “Assessing overuse and health impacts of pesticide use for agriculture” and an academic project paper titled “People’s acceptance of sustainable energy use practices and energy-efficient appliances in the residential sector of Bangladesh”. She has a publication in the International Journal for Multidisciplinary Research. As an environment enthusiast, she holds competencies in sectoral budget analysis, cost-benefit analysis, environmental impact analysis, policy analysis, and the use of environmental valuation methods and tools.
